Privacy notice

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This privacy notice explains how I collect and use personal information through this website and when you contact me about web design, development or related work.

Who I am

This website is run by Konrad Pichalski, a sole trader based in Andover, UK.

Email: [email protected]

What information I collect

If you contact me by email or through the contact form, I may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Anything you choose to include in your message
  • Your website address, if you provide one
  • Basic project details, such as budget, timing and what you need help with

The website may also collect basic technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited. This is mainly handled by Cloudflare, which I use to host, protect and deliver the website.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • Reply to your enquiry
  • Understand what you need help with
  • Prepare a quote or proposal
  • Carry out agreed work
  • Keep basic records for business and tax purposes
  • Keep the website secure and working properly

I do not sell your personal information.

My lawful basis for using your information

When you contact me about a possible project, I use your information because it is necessary to respond to your enquiry and take steps before entering into a contract.

If we work together, I use your information because it is necessary to provide the agreed service.

I may also keep limited records where I have a legal obligation to do so, for example accounting and tax records.

For basic website security and performance, I rely on legitimate interests: keeping the site available, secure and working properly.

Who I share information with

I only share personal information where needed to run the website, respond to enquiries, provide services, or meet legal requirements.

This may include:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts, protects and delivers this website
  • My email provider, which handles email messages
  • A form provider, if I use one to send contact form submissions to my inbox
  • Accounting or legal services, if needed for business records or legal obligations

If we work together and your project needs other services, such as web hosting, domain registration, Shopify, WordPress, payment providers or similar tools, I’ll explain what is needed as part of the project.

Where your information is processed

Some providers I use — such as Cloudflare and my email provider — may process or store information outside the UK. Where that happens, I rely on their standard data protection safeguards so your information stays protected to UK standards.

How long I keep information

If you send an enquiry but we do not work together, I usually delete or archive the message within 12 months, unless there is a reason to keep it longer.

If we work together, I keep project emails, invoices and related records for as long as needed for business, legal and tax purposes.

I do not keep contact form submissions in the website longer than necessary. Ideally, form messages are sent to my email inbox and not stored separately.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

At the moment, I do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking tools.

The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which may process basic technical information to deliver the site, improve performance, prevent abuse and keep it secure.

Cloudflare may also set a few essential cookies to keep the site secure and working. These don’t track you and don’t need consent.

If I add analytics or non-essential cookies later, I will update this notice and add any required cookie controls.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information. Depending on the situation, you may be able to ask me to:

  • Send you a copy of the information I hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete information I no longer need
  • Restrict or object to how I use your information

To ask about your information, or if you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled it, email [email protected] — I’ll look into it and get back to you. If you’re still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator.
